At a time when emotions can feel overwhelming and decisions heavy, it’s important to feel safe, supported, and confident in the person guiding the ceremony.

My role is to listen — with care, without judgement — to understand the life that has been lived, the relationships that mattered, and the story that deserves to be told.

Together, we will create a ceremony that reflects your loved one with honesty, warmth and dignity. It will be shaped around what they meant to you, and how you wish to honour them.

If you are planning ahead for yourself, you are equally welcome here. Thoughtful preparation can bring clarity and peace of mind, and I would be honoured to support you.

Funeral Ceremony - When You Are Facing Loss

Honouring a Life With Care

When someone dies, the practicalities can feel daunting and the emotions even more so. In moments like these, you deserve someone who will meet you with steadiness, kindness and respect.

I am an independent, fully trained and certified Funeral Celebrant. My work includes funerals, celebrations of life, memorials, ashes interments, and private farewells.

What guides my approach is simple: every life has depth, complexity and meaning, and every ceremony should honour that truth. I take time to understand the person who has died — their character, their connections, the moments that shaped them — so that the ceremony reflects their story with sincerity and dignity.

My commitment is to create a space where grief, love and memory can sit alongside one another, held with care.

You Are in Safe Hands

When you place a ceremony in my care, I want you to feel completely supported. Funeral directors and celebrants in Scotland work within a clear Code of Practice — a set of standards designed to protect families, uphold dignity, and ensure that every aspect of the process is handled with professionalism and respect.

In simple terms, the Code exists to safeguard you. It ensures transparency, honesty, and the careful, ethical treatment of your loved one at every stage. It also means you can trust that the people guiding you are accountable, trained, and committed to doing what is right.

My own practice is grounded in these principles. They sit quietly behind everything I do — from the way I listen, to the way I prepare, to the way I hold space on the day of the ceremony. You can expect clarity, compassion and integrity throughout, because you deserve nothing less.

Whatever you are facing, you will not face it alone. I am here to walk with you, gently and reliably, as we create a ceremony that honours a life with truth and tenderness.
